Indiscretion is a scene stealer.

Today's Scripture: 2 Kings 10:18-36; Proverbs 11:22; John 12:20-28
A woman's beauty can easily be eclipsed by the rudeness of her speech or actions. Interesting to note that the "fair woman" in Proverbs 11:22 compares only to the small jewel, while her indiscretion is like a sloppy, disgusting sow. Lord, please put a watch on the heart that teaches my lips and hands what to say & do. May I not ever excuse idle or unnecessary words, or inappropriate behavior with rationalization from a bitter heart.

  1. hi all
i'm a victim. i easily let my mouth loose with the excuse of being frank. God help me!!! i need to watch my tongue.at times i get the message thru but end up hurting others and even myself. sometimes i forget that need to watch the manner in which i might sound to the listeners. the overall for me today is to be slow to speek and quick to listen a word spoken is like an arrow sped it cannot be retrieved

  3. As Matthew 12:34 teaches us "out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh", so we must look first to our hearts if we wish to control our tongues. We all suffer at the hands of others some time, some way. Will we trust our righteous Judge to bring justice to our offenders, to our circumstances? Only by releasing them each to His righteous judgment may we be set free to serve Him and glorify His name.
